Blogger Dates
Emily and I decided it was time for a blogger date, and what better place to go than Cup a Cha in Stafford. It's a 5 minute drive from my house and just the cutest British cafè you could dream of. There are pictures of the Royal Family on all walls, a letter from the Queen herself, beautiful home decor on every side possible. Every part of the experience is vintage, it is such a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of usual busy coffee shops filled with grumpy people.
The reason we wanted to meet was to get our butts back into blogging. We wanted to sit down, plan some posts, discuss possible ideas and of course have a girly catch up! Blogger dates need to be something that happens more often, with all of my blogging friends.
There has been so much tension in the blogging world recently, unnecessary drama and general bitchiness. Days like this make me remember why I started blogging, to talk about the random things I love and to make friends. I always find a nice calm cafè can sort you out when you feel like everything is getting too much, whether it's in the blogging world or not. Sometimes sitting with a coffee and a book (or macbook in my case) in a quiet cafè makes you feel immediately bettter.
I can't not add some pictures below of this cute 'Royal Tea Room', if you follow me on Instagram you may of already seen my many pictures of Cup a Cha, but I can't resist posting them. It is such a nice place to look at. We will definately be using this for our resident blogger date meeting place, and I will have to bring my other friends - bloggers or not, here when they visit. I'll be back here in a few weeks to try the afternoon tea for my mom's birthday and I can't wait to have more cake! Also if you're a fan of Raspberry Lemonade the R Whites one is AMAZING and so refreshing on a really hot day like today.
